About:
I am a Wilmington, NC–based artist, designer, and creative technologist with family roots in the region extending back more than 250 years. My work explores modularity across visual, digital, and sonic media. With more than four decades of experience in graphic design, software development, and multimedia production, my practice connects traditional craftsmanship with emerging creative technology. Current projects include the development of QuickTab (QTab), a modular musical notation language that extends my ongoing interest in systems-based design, adaptive structures, and multidirectional composition. Through Creative Wilmington and related community initiatives, I continue to support the region’s creative culture by fostering collaboration among artists, designers, and technologists. My work reflects a commitment to innovation, modular thinking, and the evolving relationship between art, sound, and digital form.
