Full Stack development, early CMS development.

Development of this CMS began in 2004. It has powered numerous cultural and commercial websites developed by Modular Graphics & Media, including gwaca.org, capefearmuseum.com, creativewilmington.com, brooklynartsnc.com, cameronartmuseum.com, thalianhall.org, and modularmedia.com. Xetty has served as the backbone of more than two decades of full-stack design and development.

Original site launched 11/11/2005. CreativeWilmington.org is Wilmington’s free, open digital hub for artists, musicians, makers, and cultural organizations—full-stack designed, developed, and iteratively refined by Dennis Walsak through Modular Graphics & Media. See the "About" menu for more.

Relaunched in 2025, CreativeWilmington.org is a 20+ year evolution of the original website. It's Wilmington’s free, open digital hub for artists, musicians, makers, and cultural organizations—full-stack designed, developed, and iteratively refined.

Full-stack web app built around QuickTab, my guitar and harmony notation system—formally specified and tooled after decades of informal pencil-and-paper use. Users write, edit, and archive musical “phrases” via HTML5, JavaScript, and Web Audio API, with mobile-first UI for processing and playback. Python parsers convert .qtab files to MIDI for DAWs like GarageBand, bridging symbolic notation with production workflows. Demonstrates audio programming, language design, data parsing, and responsive design from 40+ years in software and music.
