Why This Is Different—and Worth Your Time

I get it—you’re focused on your art, you have a website, and you’re already very active on social media. Adding another platform might feel like just another time sink. But ilmcreates.org is designed to complement—not complicate—your creative life.

Here’s what makes it special:

Triple Your Visibility

By connecting your work across your website, social media, and our local hub, you create a powerful network that boosts your discoverability. New audiences, clients, and collaborators can find you from every angle.

Community That Works for You

Unlike galleries or museums (which are selective or commercial) or social media groups (which bury your work), ilmcreates.org is open, collaborative, and artist-led. When you join, you help elevate the whole Wilmington creative scene—not just yourself.

Permanent, Searchable Presence

Your profile and gallery here are a lasting showcase, always accessible and always findable. Unlike fleeting social posts, your work stays visible and relevant.

No Extra Hassle

You can reuse content from your website, clips and links from media sites, or content from social media. Your work won’t get lost in a feed—it’ll be right where you put it, in a gallery. Add your work once, and it keeps working for you.

By participating, you’re doing more than promoting your own art. You’re helping build a vibrant, connected creative community and ensuring your work is seen by the people who matter most. You’re also doing something else: breaking the pattern that has turned social media into the monster it is.

We’re here to support you—every step of the way.
