Brownie Harris
Brownie Harris is a Wilmington, NC-based photographer renowned for over 50 years of portrait, commercial, and industrial work. I began my career in New York, landing a graphic design job at the Educational Broadcasting Corporation and creating the photography department for WNET/Thirteen/PBS at age 22. Later, I relocated to Wilmington, specializing in annual reports, corporate advertising, and capturing subjects from luminaries to factory and farm workers, culminating in my 2020 publication “Photography Retrospective: 1970-2020.”
